How Scheduling Showings Work:

  • All Realtors will make showing requests through the call center at ShowingTime. The realtors will request a window of time to show your home.
  • You will receive a text, call and email with the showing request, you can either accept or decline it. (Please note: It’s important to accept as many showing requests as possible, buyers’ are normally on a schedule to see multiple homes in one day making it difficult to rearrange their schedules. However, we do understand that there will be times you will need to decline a showing, if you’d like to suggest a different time, please call 855-746-9608, to do so.)
  • Your Realtor will receive notifications of all showing requests and any that you accept or decline.

A ‘Feedback Request’ Email message is automatically sent to the agents who show your home. Showing agents who receive these feedback requests are directed to a form on showingtime.com where they answer a few simple questions, and can enter general comments. Sellers may log into myhome.show at any time to check showing and review feedback.

Unfortunately as good as this system is only 40% to 60% of Realtors consistently return Feedback – Why we are not sure; some too busy some just don’t care. So please understand we will never lie to just to make a Realtor look like they are giving Feedback. What you get from us is what we get from them. Even partial Feedback is generally enough to know how your home is showing and if it’s priced right!

Calls are answered at Showing Time. The specialists ask the caller for certain identification information and the listing(s) they wish to show.
 
Depending on the showing instructions and the listing status, the specialist will either confirm the appointment, or inform the caller that a confirmation will be called back. Any confidential information (such as a lock box combination or security system code) is always called back for security purposes.

  • If possible, make sure all lights are on, even for showings during the day.
  • It’s always best if no one is home during the showing, even before the buyer arrives.
  • It’s best if there are no pets in the house.
  • Keep the front door area looking as clean as possible. (First Impressions Matter)
  • Make sure you have a spare key with you at all times, especially if you usually access your home through the garage door. There is a chance the garage door may get locked by the Realtor or buyer after they look in the garage.

No, it’s always best if no one is home during the showing. In fact, we suggest to allow 15 minutes before the scheduled showing to try to be out. Realtors may arrive a little bit before or after the requested showing time. They don’t do this on purpose, it just might mean they are ahead or behind their route of scheduled showings for their buyer. If you arrive home and cars are still in your driveway after the scheduled appointment please allow them to finish viewing your home before you walk in, we don’t want to make the buyer uncomfortable.
